Three bristle strengths, one handle
All QUOALA bath brushes share the same 45 cm curved handle in FSC beech wood, which reaches the back without contortions – and a detachable head for working on knees, elbows and feet from the hand. The difference is in the bristles: pig bristle (soft) for sensitive skin and the daily shower, horsehair & tampico (medium) as the all-rounder with a noticeable but everyday-friendly exfoliation, and tampico (firm, vegan) from the agave fibre for anyone who likes a vigorous scrub. Every model is available with a cord for hanging or without. More help choosing: FAQ & advice.
Wet or dry?
Bath brushes work both ways. Wet in the shower with soap or shower gel they are at their mildest – pig bristle and horsehair hold water and lather well. Dry before showering they work more intensely. If you are new to this, start wet, with the soft strength and little pressure.
Care
Rinse briefly after showering, shake off the water and let the brush dry bristles down – ideally hanging from its cord. Never leave it lying in water and do not dry it on a radiator; that way the wood keeps its shape for years.
Frequently asked questions
Which bristle strength is right?
When in doubt, soft. Normal skin tolerates medium well; firm is for experienced users and robust areas such as the back and thighs.
With or without a cord?
With a cord the brush dries more hygienically because it drips while hanging. Without a cord the shape is purer – then dry it lying flat in an airy place.
Is the vegan version gentler?
No – tampico is the firmest of the three strengths. Vegan means plant fibre here, not softer.
