Why a soap bag?
Solid soap is the simplest way to get plastic bottles out of the bathroom – but it has two weaknesses: it lathers reluctantly in the hand and lies wet in the dish after the shower. The soap bag solves both. The bar goes inside, the bag is briefly moistened, and a few movements produce a dense lather. The textile structure gives a very mild exfoliation, milder than any brush. After the shower the bag hangs from its loop, the soap dries on all sides – and small remnants that would otherwise go down the drain are used up to the last gram. More help choosing: FAQ & advice.
Material and origin
The bag is made of a GOTS-certified organic linen blend and sewn in Italy. GOTS means controlled organic fibres, strict chemical requirements and audited working conditions along the textile chain. A small share of elastane lets the bag hug the bar – we say so openly instead of claiming “100% plastic-free”.
Care
Rinse briefly after each shower and hang up. Every few weeks, add it to the 40-degree wash. Replace when visibly worn.
