Aren't metal or glass files more durable?

Cheap files often wear out quickly, and metal can easily cause deep micro-cuts in the skin. We rely on industrial 3M zirconium corundum pads (100/150 grit). They file safely, with high precision, and stay sharp significantly longer than conventional pumice stone.

Does the pad dissolve if I use the file wet (in the shower)?

No. Many cheap nail files delaminate when wet. The 3M industrial pads are completely water-resistant and do not detach from the wood even in the shower. (However, please only replace the pad when it is completely dry if it is worn out!)

How does the file feel in hand, especially when wet?

The slim handle made of FSC-certified beech wood is ergonomically angled. This guarantees perfect, fatigue-free control and ideal power transfer to the heels – even with wet hands.

How often do I need to replace the sanding pads?

One pad lasts for many applications. As soon as you notice that the filing effect is diminishing, simply remove the old pad and stick a new one on the dry wood. You save a lot of plastic waste as you keep the solid wood tool for years.

Die Quoala Pedikürfeile ist definitiv ein Upgrade für jedes Wellness-Wohlfühl-Badezimmer. Die Feile strahlt eine hohe Wertigkeit aus, dass man die alten Plastikfeilen vom Drogeriemarkt schnell verwinden lassen möchte. Die Qualität überzeugt. Man kann die Feile dank des soliden Stieles gut greifen, wenn man mal etwas energischer der Hornhaut zu Leibe rücken möchte. Der Knick in der Feile hilft, bei der groben Seite mehr Druck ausüben zu können. Für mich hat sich die Investition gelohnt, zumal nun ein weiteres, schönes Objekt in meinem Bade Platz gefunden hat.

Gut, aber für sehr dicke Hornhaut begrenzt

Für normale Hornhaut super. Bei sehr hartnäckiger Hornhaut an den Fersen hätte ich mir etwas aggressiver gewünscht. Die Qualität selbst ist aber einwandfrei.
