Two diameters, two materials
The small blow-dry brush with boar bristle (body Ø 13 mm, with bristles Ø 35 mm) is the precision tool: fringe, contours, short to mid-length hair and beard styling. The medium blow-dry brush with tampico (Ø 24 / 50 mm, vegan) brings tension and bounce to mid-length, coarse hair. Both have a body of FSC wood that stores the dryer's heat and releases it evenly, without getting hot like metal. More help choosing: FAQ & advice.
How to blow-dry with the round brush
Pre-dry towel-damp hair, then section by section: place the brush at the roots, follow it with the dryer from top to bottom and turn the section under light tension down to the ends. For more lift at the roots, raise the section; for smooth lengths, guide the brush flat. Finish with a short blast of cold air – that sets the shape.
Care
Remove hair from the bristles, occasionally clean the bristles with lukewarm water, keep the wood dry. Do not leave it lying wet.
Frequently asked questions
Which diameter is right?
Small (13/35 mm) for short hair, fringe and contours. Medium (24/50 mm) for mid-length hair and more bounce. Very fine hair copes better with the small brush.
Are the brushes heat-resistant?
Yes, for normal blow-drying. A straightening iron belongs on neither boar bristle nor tampico.
Can I use the small brush for the beard?
Yes – many use it for contours and moustache, at low dryer heat.
