The pedicure foot file works with 3M zirconia alumina pads, coarse 100 and fine 150. Reduce first, then smooth, a few strokes, once a week. You replace the pad, not the tool.

Workshop brush or nail brush?
The nail brush for everyday use. If you regularly work with oil, paint or soil, add the workshop brush.
Pig bristle or tampico?
Pig bristle is more supple and holds water well. Tampico is firmer and vegan, the choice for heavy dirt.
How often should I use the foot file?
Once a week is enough. Filing more often or harder tends to encourage callus growth.
