How do I prevent the wood around the sink from turning gray or cracking?

FSC wood stays beautiful longest if you occasionally (e.g. every 3 months) rub it with a few drops of cooking oil (linseed oil/olive oil). After use, always let the brush air dry upright (bristles down). Never leave it in water!

Why is the brush double-sided?

The short, narrow row of bristles on the top is cut stiffer and perfect for precise and powerful cleaning under the nails. The wider underside gently cleans the entire palms of the hands.

For which types of dirt is the wild boar variant ideal?

It is perfect for daily hand care (kitchen, bathroom, light gardening). It cleans thoroughly without scratching delicate cuticles.

Is the brush completely plastic-free?

Hatte davor immer die typischen billigen Bürsten und habe nun gedacht, ich investiere mal in Qualität, nachdem ich mit den Plastikprodukten mit künstlichen Borsten nicht wirklich zufrieden war. Mir persönlich war noch wichtig, dass es sich wirklich um zertifiziertes Holz und natürliche Borsten ohne irgendwelche Zusatzstoffe handelt - Habe ich mit diesem Produkt gefunden :-)Ich nutze die Bürste im Wesentlichen zur Hand-/ Nägelreinigung, aber auch teilweise beim Duschen für das Gesicht zur Entfernung von Hautschuppen nach dem Rasieren. Geht ohne Probleme. Die Bürste liegt gut in der Hand, ist sehr wertig verarbeitet und man merkt den verwendeten Materialen wirklich auch die Qualität an. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
