Dry brushing

Dry brushes including ionic dry brushes with bronze – as a horsehair version or vegan with tampico – for invigorating dry brushing with honest natural materials. Made in Germany.

What is dry brushing?

Dry brushing means: before showering, the skin is brushed with a dry natural-bristle brush in long strokes towards the heart – feet, legs, belly, arms, back. It takes three to five minutes and needs neither water nor oil. The mechanical friction loosens dead skin flakes; afterwards the skin feels smoother and warmer. We claim nothing more: dry brushing is surface skin care, not a medical procedure.

Which dry brush suits me?

The ionic dry brush with horsehair is medium and the right start for normal skin. The vegan version with tampico is firmer and for people who like a clearly noticeable exfoliation or work on robust zones such as back and thighs. Both models carry fine wires of pure bronze between the bristles – not brass. That is the signature feature of this brush and gives it its own cool, tingling brushing feel. Any effect beyond that is handed down by tradition but not clinically proven – so we claim none. More help choosing: FAQ & advice.

How to use it correctly

Only on dry skin, with light pressure, two to three times a week. Not on irritated skin, sunburn, open spots or moles. Shower after brushing and moisturise as usual. Do not wash the brush; tap it out and store it dry.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I dry brush?
Two to three times a week is enough. If you have sensitive skin, start with once a week and little pressure.

Horsehair or tampico to start?
Horsehair (medium). Tampico is the firmer, vegan fibre – good if you already have dry brushing experience.

What does the bronze in the brush do?
It is the signature of this brush and noticeably changes the brushing feel. An effect beyond the skin's surface is not proven, and we do not claim it.
