Tampico fibers (vegetable)

Tampico fibers (vegetable)

For our vegan care tools, we use Tampico fibers from the agave plant. What makes them special is that these plant fibers are naturally extremely hard and retain their enormous elasticity even when wet.

This makes Tampico the perfect choice for a vigorous, circulation-boosting body scrub or as an indestructible vegan craftsman's brush for the toughest dirt.

Furthermore, the fiber is absolutely heat-resistant and builds up the ideal tension in styling brushes during blow-drying without melting.

Physics, not esotericism: Our ionic monastery brushes for dry brushing use the triboelectric effect. The bristle ring contains fine wire made of real bronze (95% copper, 5% tin) instead of oxidizing brass.

During dry friction, the metal gently dissipates static charge, leaving the skin feeling energized.

Combined with horsehair, the dry brush glides smoothly, while the vegan Tampico-bronze blend intensively stimulates circulation.

Important: Use only when dry!

For the hand loops of our bath and body brushes, we deliberately choose a durable elastane blended fabric.

The dogmatic "100% plastic-free" trend often calls for pure cotton or leather - but these materials wear out when wet, rot or become brittle.

Our minimal, flexible elastane content guarantees that the brush clings securely to the back of the hand, even with slippery, soapy hands. This maximizes application safety and protects the tool from premature wear.

Longevity & Care

Longevity & Care

Natural materials interact with moisture. To prevent mold or bristle loss, wooden brushes should never be left in water or in a damp shower.

After use, shake thoroughly and always let it air dry with the bristles facing downwards ("drip-dry") in a well-ventilated area.

Anyone who follows these simple care instructions and occasionally oils the FSC wood will be rewarded with extremely durable brushes and a beautiful patina that plastic can never achieve.
