We use FSC® wood perfectly matched to its respective function, sourced from sustainable European forestry (More about FSC here).

Beechwood is extremely dense and durable – ideal for bath and hand brushes used near water. Hornbeam provides hard, antistatic wooden pins for our paddle brushes to effectively prevent flyaways (frizz).

For beard brushes, we choose exquisite pearwood: it feels warm in the hand, offers a non-slip texture, and absorbs excess beard oil.

For our vegan care tools, we use Tampico fibers from the agave. What's special about them: This plant fiber is naturally extremely hard and retains its enormous elasticity even when wet.

This makes Tampico the perfect choice for a vigorous, blood circulation-promoting body scrub or as an indestructible vegan craftsman's brush for the toughest dirt.

Additionally, the fiber is completely heat-resistant and builds up ideal tension in styling brushes during blow-drying without melting.

Natural materials interact with moisture. To prevent mold or bristle loss, wooden brushes should never be left in water or a damp shower.

After use, shake them out thoroughly and always let them drip-dry with the bristles facing down in a well-ventilated area.

Those who follow these simple care instructions and occasionally oil the FSC wood will be rewarded with extremely durable brushes and a beautiful patina that plastic can never achieve.
